Don Mauro.  Mauro’s #18 was retired in 2003.
Mauro coached at Dowling from 1969 to 1991.

conditioned facility hosts concessions, PA announcers,
scoreboard, radio and media as well as storage and
coaches lockers.
This brick monument wall was completed in 2005
and serves as an important fund raiser for the
Dowling Catholic Baseball Program.  Over 150
bricks have been sold to date.  Please see the
purchasing a brick.  Cost is $125.00.  This is a
great way to be a permanent part of the rich and
storied Dowling Baseball tradition!!
With the help of many volunteers, much needed restroom
facilities were built in 2004.  This project was a joint effort
between the baseball and softball programs. The DCHS Art
Club designed and painted murals with baseball and softball
themes on the interior walls.
The bridge welcomes visitors to
Dowling's baseball facilities at the
south end of the Dowling HS campus.
